Seckinger High School will be among the newest schools in Gwinnett County. The school is named in honor of long time Gwinnett County Public Schools Board Member, Daniel D. Seckinger. The school will have a capacity of 2,800 students. The Buford area is going through a population boom. Opening this school will “provide relief to Mill Creek High School and Mountain View High School” according to a release issued by Gwinnett County Schools.

Seckinger High School is located at 3655 Sardis Church Road in Buford. This is close to the intersection of Sardis Church Road and Hamilton Mill. This is across the street from the new Sardis Falls Subdivision.

Students will have the option of customizing their high school learning experience in a college-like setting. Seckinger High School will provide pupils with the choice to specialize in one of three areas during their high school education:
- Advanced Science and Technology
- Business and Leadership
- Art and Design
- Or Students elect a more personalized high school course of study.
Additionally, Seckinger will offer all students an opportunity to explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) at levels to suit their level of interest as a way to future proof their learning experiences and more adequately prepare graduates for a world dominated by AI. The school will also offer a full athletic experience.
